panki No problem! How could I name the new section for the other characters? ^^ I need to think but maybe you can call it Jabba's Hut (and in the description mention that people can discuss all topics not related to Rey and Kylo....and leaks, spoilers and theories related to other characters other than Rey and Kylo? |

I second this - I like the look of the new forum, it looks well organised. And a Reylo forum should definitely be well moderated! I love Berhan's forum layout.....it would be a wonderful haven for reylos....but I am going to add something slightly controversial....maybe we should tolerate other characters discussions there also....not necessarily their ships but general discussions. Also, I feel we should transfer some of the better posts from the old thread to the new forum once it is up and running....and find a way to make it easier to search for it on google.....a lot of people found our old thread via google search....just some thoughts..... Yes! I'd love a Reylo-friendly place to discuss other characters, etc. So, are we moving over there? I think those are pretty convincing arguments to do so. |

panki Do I let the social thread or should I replace it by Jabba's Hut? I think Social thread also works...basically we need a place to keep the negative elements....we shouldn't treat others as badly as we've been treated...but we shouldn't turn the forum negative either....that is my thinking. |

panki You have my green light! darthdingleberry I configured it by adding some key words like: kylo ren, rey, reylo, love etc. Normally it's ok! :] PS. "La Cantina" is a sub-forum of "The Lounge" (reserved to the members). | "LC" is reserved to the JCF regulars.

Another forum? Man, this is moving so fast.
I agree that Reylo or Rey and Kylo should be in the name. I also found the JBC thread by googling Reylo.
Just after I said I would not go in the Kylo redemption thread, I did (I will not be seduced by the Redemption Thread, she said...). I also said that we should cool off and blah, blah. Yeah, here I am all upset now with all claws out. In general I like to debate, but I am just baffled at how much negative energy is coming out of that thread. I would understand if Kylo was presented as Hannibal Lecter or Leonardo Di Caprio's character in Django Unchained, but here I am baffled.
But then I have similar discussions on the young people blowing themselves up in the name of whatever cause. I understand that as a direct victim, you might not accept to see that the person is a human being who might have gone a different way in different circumstances, but I am not sure that the constant vilifying and unwillingness to put yourself in their shoes will help in solving the main issue either. Fighting extremism with extremism. Amazing the debates one fictional SW character can spur.
Anyways, better take a breather.

You could add a section dedicated to Star Wars in general,or only this last trilogy,if you like, so that people could talk about other characters too. It will be more interesting.

If this forum is unmoderated, it may become very ugly very quickly. Moving to Berhan's forum might be a good idea. I'll create an account.

I am really depressed and discouraged by things. I think we're just in a bad transition. I think that things are going to work out. Who knows what the new forum could turn into? It could be incredibly awesome. We all are having different reactions, but we're all in this together. :-) |
