Thanks for all the love. I appreciate it. I feel loath to abandon the redemption forum, but it may be necessary because unless it gets flooded with new people, there will be no one willing to have a good faith argument. Maybe I should follow others' example and write some meta. I think there are some good things to be said about genre (esp. tragedy, comedy, and tragicomedy) regarding the trilogies. Also things to be said about redemption storylines and female integration of identity. And some other stuff. I wouldn't bother to waste my time in the Redemption thread, if I were you. I ventured in there once and was so put off by their delusions figured it wasn't worth it. It's better to spend your time somewhere that will make you happy rather than beat your head into a wall. Trust me, where on the right track and Episode VIII will squash the Rey Skywalker theorist hopes like a dropped egg. Well most of them. I'm sure even when Ben and Rey declared their feelings for each other and passionately kiss they'll scream "He's a sick bastard! He's snogging his own cousin and asking her to marry him. Luke better step in and tell them the truth soon."  DarthWestHam I kinda love going there and mess with them a little...But RobbyV is doing and excellent job...HEY HAS anyone invited him here...he soo cool I love him:) The way that man can talk...makes vectors sound sexy  where are we moving? frared "I'm trying to convince the family that killing one's father isn't a problem on the course to redemption *cue hysterical laughter*" How does one do that? |

I agree with the motion to move to Berhan's forum. But we need to get our hands dirty there. It IS pretty but it needs to be lived in. Don't be afraid to post and open topics within the forums Berhan has built, etc.
