Yo, everyone! Darth Imbecillis here - I just really hated my own name and decided to change it to Dingleberry. I can't even remember what the context of that dingleberry comment was, but there you go, that's my name now... in memory of the hatahs... Thank you for starting this forum. My last straw wasn't what happened to the thread (though that was bad enough), but the utter contempt shown by a mod towards Reylo shippers in the Kylo Ren redemption thread. That's when it became crystal clear that we're very much unwelcome over there. Ditto! Totally biased. He/she treated us like idiots.

Don't like you're on a timout here! I want to keep visiting the "new" thread at TFN, but can already see the main issue that bothered me popping up again. There are so many sub topics getting smooshed into one thread, and keeping track of what's interesting to me is already difficult at a mere 6 pages (last time I checked). Oh... I feel bad cause I may have been contributing to that. I didn't know that that was an issue? I thought that the smooshing together made it a great one-stop place for discussion...was I the only one that thought this? No you weren't. I did too, and I thought it was awesome. In fact, it helped keep us "bad" reylos out of everyone's hair. This is Matt's Solo Cousin btw. This site wouldn't let me use that name.

apparently FFG has been working with the mods behind closed doors to have all the changes done? like, WTF? She was just trying to make it a better place for us, really working to try and help us with the baiting and trolling that happens mainly I think

Hello guys, it's Rowan. At last I can reveal my true nature: I have been a Sith all along. *cackles* Anyway, this is my favorite of the new Reylo strongholds. Glad to see so many familiar faces!

This is heartbreaking, I was a little reluctant to believe that we're being chased from there, but by seeing what is happening now I'm sure of it.

Hi guys...sigh its depressing what happened. I think the thread over there will pick up in good time just give it time It is. I just went to the "new" thread and that Chorus guy is just being a complete dick. I didn't even go into the Redemption thread, but I heard that there was idiocy there as well. They just really seem to want us gone for some reason. Why would the mods act like that otherwise? It's very dictatorial, and they know that there is nothing we can do about it. I'm just annoyed because the Reylo viewpoint will be so squelched on such a prominent Star Wars site. (The tone there today was like trying to write under a censorship bureau). Also, the hammer just came down so suddenly. I had some thoughts on this. Now please bear with me because these thoughts were very stream of conscious and are rather loopy as I took something to help me sleep last night and am still reeling from it today. :-) So the first thought I had was that most of the mods have disliked us for a while. We all argue in a competent and effective manner. I don't think they are used to too much of that based on what kind of writing I have seen in other threads. I think a lot of them think they're hot shit because they've been around for so long and have gotten very settled into their positions and do not like being challenged. I think Blastaar and Turnip having their mental breakdowns and the subsequent complaining/reporting from the likes of them brought our thread to a head among the mostly anti-mods, and I think some of the biggest haters probably have the most power in that mod group, and they swayed everyone to come down on us with these destructive parameters. Their bad faith is plainly evident by the mods trying to stir up things today. In other words, they want us gone. They want to return to geek theorizing, like the kind you see on reddit, and just do not want to be confronted with people with analysis, writing and persuasion skills that they just cannot compete with. TheForce.Net is like some backwater small town that just doesn't want things to change. The problem is that the king of cornballs, George Lucas, is not running things anymore. Instead, we have Disney employees making a Spotify list with songs like Bang Bang for Rey. We have that new deleted scene trailer which is like nothing I have seen before. Maybe I am not that aware, but when did a movie company advertise deleted scenes like Kylo slumped over Han's pilot seat? Deleted scenes are supposed to be fun extra things. These deleted scenes are huge! They are presenting them like a continuation of the story. The deleted scenes are being advertised as canon. It's Disney using marketing magic to keep the tease alive ... giving us a little bit more as time goes on. And I don't think the marketing is the only thing that has changed. This thing is obviously not going to some rated R place, but I am positive that it will earn its PG-13 more than it has in the past. There was actual blood onscreen here. Han's impalement was drawn out. Kylo burned Finn. Poe flirted with Finn. Rey slashed Kylo's face. There was all kinds of real sexual subtext with Kylo and Rey. And Kylo, the writer's star character, is not going to be all bad, even though he killed his father. The writers do not view that crime as the unforgiveable sin that people on theforce.net do. He is not going to be an "easy" character. Nothing is going to be easy. George Lucas liked easy. George Lucas was extremely uncomfortable with anything remotely sexual. This team is not. This team hired a Breaking Bad director for Episode VIII. Things are going to be different moving forward, and I think that the thinking we all brought in the Reylo thread was like a big neon light of that difference that some of these people just do not want to look at. Star Wars is a comfortable thing for these folks. The rules are simple. They can count on it. The thing is ... with the new team, the rules are all changing. Like that reviewer said, JJ "had an idea never before seen in the franchise" (Rey and Kylo sexual chemistry). There are going to be more new ideas. Like a halo-less Big 3. Like a sympathetic murderer, Kylo Ren. The production team behind this movie has been watching the TV renaissance that started with shows like The Sopranos and the edgier comedies of the 2000s and are infusing some of those grey notions into the SW universe, and these "small town" SW people are going to have be dragged kicking and screaming into the new world. My next crazy thought was that somebody on Twitter should tell Daisy that people interested in the Kylo and Ren connection were being silenced by a prominent site on the off-off-off chance that we would get some subtle response on it ... like another liked fanart of Rey undressing Kylo. LOL! I just would really hate the production to think that nobody cared because sites like theforce.net were skewing the image of the fan base. That lead to my next crazy, crazy thought ... and this is really crazy ... so don't laugh ... and blame the sleeping pill still messing with my brain ... because this is mega conspiracy theory .... So here goes ... what if our theories got too close ... what if someone in TPTB wants us quiet because if we've interpreted things correctly it might mess up a surprise. Obviously, a miniscule amount of people looked at our thread in the big scheme of things, but what if some lurker writes a Moviepilot.com article based on something, and then some slightly more legitimate source picks up on that and then eventually it gets to someplace a decent amount of people read. I believe Reylo will be a big shock for the GA in Episode VIII. The production may want to roll it out as they wish and not have things spoiled. LOL! I told you it was pretty crazy, but then mods attacking posters unprovoked is pretty crazy too. What kind of connections does theforce.net have to the production team? I remember reading things about the prequels there like 16 years ago, so somebody must know somebody after all these years. It's just really weird how this all went down so fast. Could crazy blastaar and turnip white really be the reason?

Not only them. There are other well-known antis that are being really cunning and manipulative. What annoyed the hell out of me was that Mod (C)... if I knew some other Mod I would have send him a PM. They're spoiling everything I'm also less than enthuasiastic to know that the thread's future was being discussed privately, since we were all part of that thread and, as far as I know, we never elected a leader. No hard feelings though, just another stream of consciousness! (Yeah, I suppose I'm a bit pissed off now ) If I'm not banned already (lol) I'm going to drop there every now and then and keep being a tiny, polite pain in the a** I really hate to see our glorious voices being silenced that way.

I completly agree with you.O think what's happening is that more new fans are joining that forum and it's becoming about new fans who're more open to grey and complex writing vs older OT fans who want things

Lol,sorry the forum is just new to me and I'm still getting used to it.What I meant to say is that most people on Jed Council forum really want a rehash of OT they don't want things to change.Hence the convoluted Rey Skywalker theories and hatred towards Kylo who's just too complex for the, to be able to box up as either good or bad. Honestly before Reylo I was never a big SW fan.I enjoyed the movies and loved Han and Leia but I didn't see what was that special about them.It was only after Reylo I became a real SW fan. They have an amazing potential as a couple but because they wouldn't be a romance that SW fans are used to they're being largely ignored and bullied by them. Some people just want simple good vs bad instead of a more complex writing and characters .

Disney obviously have people going through the net, checking the trends and all, that forum is pretty popular, we must have been noticed. I love conspiracy theories, one never knows which turns out to be true!

Guys I created a forum, I really wanted it to be "aesthetically pleasing". (even if I'm not a pro with all the design stuff) I won't share it for the moment, will do when it's ready!
